Email Issues:
Note: A time decay function is needed for the error handler, if multiple errors occur. It then delays the invoking process to throttle email and to throttle recovery attempts.
This is important. A slight slip on my part generated 400,000 email messages when the production test system failed for 6 hours... Heck, I wrote the bad piece of code when I was worrying about this very issue. I think I remained gun-shy for a week afterwards. The email administrator never found me...
