Well, maybe it felt like a zillion stored procedures given the clean interface I was facing on the mainframe side. Besides that, I need to watch data types, int, float, decimal and date when dealing with the Sybase stored procedures.
The trick of course is devising a clean abstract model. Then it all falls into place.
